Flames
« on: September 30, 2009, 08:46:12 PM »

Been looking all over for this answer. Does anyone know what the color of the flames on the spiced rum flhxse is. I am trying to come up with a color that I can tell Corbin for the stitching on the seat I am about to order.
Thanks

Oh man, Corbin has about twenty different colors of thread.  That's going to be a hard call without being there in person.

Jon (Jonga) and I are going in a couple weeks.  If you want to, you can send a side cover to me and I'll take it with me to match the thread for you?  It's an offer.......your call. :nixweiss:

I wonder if Corbin has a swatch or sample pack of thread color? If so then these are usually free and maybe somebody that has possession of a Rummy can request one and match it up?

Just a thought.

Thank you for the offer. I will keep that as a option.
I think that I will be doing my seat the way you did yours, basically, only I thinking of going with a heated option. I read somewhere on here that it is a tiny bit softer. I am going to call them to see if they have done one yet this color. JCZ you know the folks down there, anyone special I should ask to speak to?

My SEEG seat isn't heated.....just an off the shelf seat.  My SESG seat is heated and pictured below.......

They don't have swatches of thread......just a cabinet full of these very large spools.  You pick your color from the cabinet.  They have a bundle of swatches of the different types of leather but it's large.....about the size of a football.  I've only saw the one used for the ride in customers. :nixweiss:

It looks very good. I would send them a picture---but
I dont know if you have seen a rum in person, if you get the color off a little it could end up being pink be pink :'(

You could always email them a pic of the tank to match thread.

Already have the tour pack.  The leg fairings came in yesterday.  Just waiting for the damn painter.......he's MIA this week.  Nobody knows where he's at. >:(

Oh, we're keeping the luggage racks (Terrie has the same one).  Use that for the little weekenders and the tour pack for the big trips.  I like how it sits right up behind the rider and it's big enough to actually be functional in keeping the luggage off the paint! :2vrolijk_21:
