It is still not available yet , we all whcích wanted mailed a interest  to K&N .
Do it also , perhaps they will do one when they recognize that we want a replacement K&N  :2vrolijk_21:

Nothing wrong with stock air filter, wash with warm water and Dawn when dirty, rinse and reuse. Steve as Fullsac posted there were only 3 hp difference between no filter at all and the stock filter. So run no filter or stock filter? 3 hp will not register on butt dyno.

But the stock one is about 65Euros , i needed one at the 10k miles service ( 16000km) it was black all over after a summer tour . ( Allthough i allways use the SE-coat , and this SE-coat does become loosely now , and i nearly lost it ( recognized it before flying away )  while riding a few times yesterday . Is this coat available alone or only in set with a complete AC ?

Am I missing something here?  The stock filter element is washable, just like the other stock filter elements.  You only need to replace it if it gets torn or finally becomes so dirty it can't be cleaned anymore.  I certainly wouldn't think it would be necessary to replace it at 5000 miles.  If you want it to always look nice and white and clean, that ain't gonna happen.  There's a big difference between cosmetically clean and clean enough to flow air properly.  And a K&N or other oiled filter isn't going to be any different in that regard.  That red oil on a K&N rapidly becomes grey and dirty looking as it does it's job.

Still haven't seen K&N offer a replacement element yet, so folks need to keep contacting them.  Like they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Isn't the Arlen Ness filter made by K&N as is the Zippers larger filter???

Also, I couldn't find either the Zippers or the Arlen one for our CVO filter frame. Do we need to go back to the"Football" ?
