Painted inner fairing

Another member had asked me for some pics of the paiinted inner fairing that I installed. I coundn't figure out how to attach in a PM so I am posting them here. I hope that is OK. I think Gunslinger Custom Paint in Colorado did a good job on the match.

I like the color matched on the CC and the TS, but the SR looks better with the black inner fairing IMO.  Very nice job on the match, it looks fantastic!

A color matched inner fairing looks better on any bagger......color makes no difference.  It just adds to the "finished" look. :2vrolijk_21:

I just like the SR trimmed out with a little black.  I think mine will eventually get a black stealth rack and black pipes.  I love the chrome on it, but the black sets off the other chrome and the paint IMO.

I think on the SR I agree with you. But the other 2 colors need a painted inner fairing.

I agree; and, it would look even more "finished" if HD would paint the black plastic idiot light bezel as they do the inner faring and fairing cap.

Now I have to go out and get the chrome trim....

I believe that Gunslingers did all the CVO paint this year. If I may ask, what did they charge for the painted inner fairing?

Gunslingers did not do the CVO paint this year. I had to send them a side cover so they could match it. Painting the fairing and lower cap was $400 plus shipping

How much work is the switch out? $400 is cheap for the look!
