I switched from 1.75" to 2" which I prefer.   Very mInor power increase and little louder but still relatively quiet.

I installed the 2.0 baffles about a year ago and was very happy with the sound ...last week installed the Vance & Hines Power Duals  a little louder at idle and not obnoxious cruising .. but what a difference in power  :apple: also running the Power Vision from Dynojet

I was thinking that the 1-3/4 was the way to go.. I was talked into the 2" by someone on here and also Steve at Fulsac.  I didn't want alot of noise either.  I did go for the 2" and they are perfect for me.. Not too loud at all and sound just right. I don't think I want any louder but I'm glad about my choice. :2vrolijk_21:

You don't have to remove the packing material.  If it comes out while removing the baffles, just slide it back in place.  I'm happy with the 2" and leaving the packing material installed.

2 inch without packing sounds great.  Nice mix of Idle and acceleration sound.  Perfect for a Harley.  Wife doesn't complain about noise like she did on V&H pipes.

I went with the 2" because Fullsac told me that the 2" made more HP than the 1.75 or 2.25.  I'm sure there's not much difference.  I installed the Fullsac Stage 1 kit at 1k miles.  When I removed the stock baffles, the "packing" was already coming apart and looking pretty sorry, so I left the packing out.  I'm very pleased with the 2" sound.

I put on 2.0 baffles also. I still wish it was a bit louder but im going to wait and see what it sounds like after I remove my stock header with cat still in, once removed I hope I get a bit more growl. Hope this helps

I have the 2.25s with the insulation still in the mufflers on my 11 Krypto.  I wanted a louder sound, still not as loud as I would have liked but it really comes alive when you get on it.  I had Rush mufflers on my other bikes and love thier sound but I like the look of the stock black end caps.  Have a TTS and header, had it dyno tuned  he did say the 2.0  performed better but said it is so small a difference that only the dyno can see/feel it.  The bike runs much better with the exhaust/tuner, the weird throttle lag is gone and it reacts like a cable throttle bike.
