All the more reason not to put Soda in it Howie. Just add rocks and put some more JD in to help fill up the glass. ::)

The proper mix is:


1) Fill glass w/ Gentleman Jack

2) Think about an ice cold coke while doing so!

Glen Merangie (sp?)
Glen Merangie Port
Glen Livet

And there's only one way to drink a good single malt...and that's straight up (neat).   :2vrolijk_21:  Mmmmmmmmm Devil loves his single malt.   ;)

Some excellent choices there Devil.

I assume you mean:

Glen Morangie and Macallan. Excellent Malts.

However you are missing a trick if you drink them a neat. Try adding about 1/3 of still mineral water. This brings out the natural oils in the Malt and enhances the complex array of flavours.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for the spelling correction...those are the one's I meant.  ;)  I've just gotten started doing a "splash" of water with the single malt to "open it up", and you're right, it does bring out the flavors...especially in the Glen Morangie Port.   :2vrolijk_21:
