We are amongst a celebrity! 

Found out while riding for the filming it is being used for several things.  Some show on Public television that will air beginning of the year.  It will also be used by SMHD for many things, promotions and advertising.

Better make damn sure that bike is spotless then. Can't have us looking like bums. 

Did a very good wash before I went over for it.

At first the had several runs of us, about 24 bikes on the Foothills Parkway.  Then they picked 8 bikes for some more runs on the Parkway, Joe and I were two of the 8 picked for that.

Then they shot the 8 of us on the beginning of the Dragon, TN side.  Then they did 3 bikes running the whole dragon, I was not one picked for that.  That was the Owner of SMHD, The GM of SMHD and another, The owner and GM ride at 10/10ths  Owners floorboard are ground down and is both sides of his exhaust on his King.

I think each of us that were chosen for the extra 8 will get a copy of the whole thing.

So Yesterday I road mine on the Foothills parkway and the Dragon.

I'll attest to what Dave stated about Scott's (SMHD owner) bike.  He rides the fool outta dat ting.  Don't know if "rides the fool outta dat ting" is anything like 10/10ths, however.....

Installed highway pegs on my 2015 FLHXSE today. Completed the breakin mileage. Now I'll ride it like it should be ridden.

Rode in the nice fall air, stopped by the local dealer (60 miles from home), had my wife sit on a new freewheeler, fit like a glove. Got a trade estimate on my 2010 SEUC, $22.5k on the high side. New Limited $40,180 out the door. No thanks I'm shopping for an 11 SESG.

10/10ths?

Many times people say they push a bike to 9/10th of the bikes capability.  Well Scott, owner of SMHD push his bikes to the full limits, 10/10th or 100% of the bikes capability.  He drags all the hard pars, floor boards, pipes, floor board brackets, there is no lean at all left in a bike to push it harder.

Got up early this Saturday and installed my second Fullsac 1.75" Power Core. Went much quicker than the first one. Only took me slightly more than an hour. Then I took my '15 FLTRUSE off to Duke City Harley to get a Dyno Tune. Mind you, I decided to keep the stock header and just open up the baffles. Right now I do not feel much, if any, heat coming off the header. So it will stay this way unless next summer proves to be too hot with the catalytic converter. If so, then a DX pipe will be installed.

Anyway, here are the results. I don't know how much is attributed to the tune using a richer air/fuel ratio and how much, if any, gets credited to the baffles.

I had changed the fluids last week in Orange Crush but had not had occasion to ride it since. When I changed I put Mobil 1 in the motor and primary, and Bel Ray transmission lube in the tranny. WOW what a difference, I had one lifter/pushrods making a bit of noise previously and that seems to be have quietened down considerably, and the transmission definitely shifts smoother than before. That is not to say it shifted poorly before, it was fine, but quieter and easier now. I'm gonna have to try the Bel Ray in Ol Betsy when I change her fluids next time.

Also got a kuryakyn license plate setup and installed it as well along with my metal plates that finally came.

I run Mobil 1 in my motor, Mobil 1 4T 10w-40 in the primary, and belray in the tranny. The mobil 1 is quiet at first but after 1 or 2k gets a bit noisy. Love the primary oil and the belray in the trans. I'm going to try the 10w-60 liquimoly in the engine next.
