It was a lonely ride in as I was the only bike out this morning heading into work....don't know why nobody was willing/to stupid to get out with me in 20 degree weather and ride.  Even my neighbor up the holler that rides the BMW (and passes me about everyday....and waves) didn't even ride in today.  I mean, come on....It's not like it was snowing or anything.  I guess you just can't understand folks sometimes....

And again today. Heated grips definitely work but it would be nice it they turned off when you want them to. Hopefully just a bad switch.

Wife and Road today about 30 degrees .  only 75 miles but sure feels good and the engine love the cold to. Heated gear was great. Sure makes owning a bike well worth it . we get 3 extra months a year  plus going over mountains and night riding is great. Billy

So they do not turn off?  That could get hot.  Do they have a new one on order for you?

The control on the left doesn't turn them off most times once they have been turned on. As long as I don't turn them on starting out in the morning they stay off. Sounds like the left grip with the controller needs to be replaced. SMHD is going to call the MoCo Monday to get the ok to replace it.

Ok.  That makes sense.  Good it does not come on, if you did not have it on when you start the bike.  I have heard some seats are doing that too.

I find that on my heater control the palm rubs against the control and inadvertently moves it to 1 or 2 setting. They remain warm even when turned to 0. The control is much looser than the heated grip on my '11.

Picked up a heated Mustang seat from a forum member
Sent heads and jugs to be worked (soon to be 113)Not too many on this forum run the Fuel Moto. I think I'm going that way. Let us know what you think.
