Shorty CB and radio antennas..  Cheapest thing I have done to her yet..  Would have went with the hidden antennas but heard bad things about the reception.  They do look a bit better and I think they will be a little better going into the toy hauler...

Installed the 19" Tall Road Glide Windshield. I am hoping this makes a big difference for me with regard to wind in the face/helmet and helmet noise. I will report back after I get a ride in this weekend. I thought it might end up being too tall but I can see over the windshield just fine.

The reception will be a little less as far as distance goes but definitely better than the hidden antenna.

I replaced my shorties with the stock antenna because reception was so poor when I live. Local stations are 30-70 miles away, and I could only get the 30 mile away stations sometimes.

I'm thinking about getting a Fuel Moto exhaust in the spring. Jackpot pipe and mufflers. Are you still running the FM? Any thing you can tell me about it would be appreciated.

I do have the FuelMoto stainles ceramic coated header.  I like the sound of this header.  I do not care for the way the heat shield line up.  they are a major pain in the rearend.  What I did was put a couple of extra hose clamps under the two forward shields.  This pushed them out some so there was no gap between the two and the rear shield.  I tried so many times to line it up, this was my solution and it has not presented a problem.  I love my FM Touring mufflers with the carbon fiber ring.  They look good and sound great, not too loud and not quiet either.  When you let off the gas they sound like a jackhammer,. love it.
I had the FuelSac with 2" cores as well.  The fit was perfect and in hind sight I really liked the sound.  I also feel (feel) they had a bit more power.  Not sure if it was the hardware or the tune.  Back then I had the TTS Tuner, today I have the Power Vision.
Personally I feel either way you will be happy.
If I could do it all over again, I would go with the FullSac gear and their tune.

Thanks for the advice. I've narrowed it down to those two. Fullsac is coming out with a Stainless version soon. I'm just a little concerned about replacing the guts in the stock mufflers. I haven't found anyone around here who's done it and I gave up doing my own work years ago.

Alright, as promised a report on the new 19" windshield for my 15 FLTRUSE.

BIG IMPROVEMENT over the stock 14" Windshield. It isn't perfect, still some buffetting from the sides but at least 150-200% better. I don't feel my head being whipped around anymore and the helmet windscreen noise is way down.

Worth the money and done waiting for the aftermarket guys to come up with a tall shield.
