Installed a Hammock (part number ending on 176) seat with the standard rider backrest.   This is the first replacement seat that I have ever bought for any of my bikes and damn it feels good.   No ride yet but I can already say it is an improvement.

Took all my boxes of goodies out to the garage. Put the bike on the jack, took the saddlebags off and installed the CD turn signals front and rear. I have a whole table full of stuff to get taken care of. I'll update progress as I go but pix will wait until I'm finished.

Sorry pics aren't the clearest. I have to take them on a low quality setting to keep the files small enough for the forums. These dyno results are 82.85 hp stock up to 97.57 with the new pipe and tune (SESTP). Torque went from 96.17 ft-lbs. stock to 117.93 with the new pipe and tune. Also replaced the torque dip at 3000 rpm with the PEAK. That's an increase of over 25 ft-lbs. at that rpm.

Scanned the dyno printout.

Yes, very easy. Got another set made that I am going to paint gloss black. I am going to swap them out to see which ones I like the best.

I looked at that same piece of metal at Home Depot last weekend and didn't care for the pattern. Looking forward to seeing them in black.

Found a couple sheets on ebay that should work. We'll see what it looks like when it gets here. I ordered the thinnest stuff I could find.

MY wife and I took out the bikes and road 60 miles today only 30 degrees but sunny and a whole suit of Gerbing. Works great wanted to ride all day   NO salt so we just had to go.  Billy

Leave the black ones in. Just my opinion. Where did you get the metal from and how big was it? How many pieces did you get out of it? I have two sheets of 12x24 coming in case I screw up big time making them.
