Bought the 09 SERG this morning; spent the day riding from Chattanooga up through the Cherohala Skyway then through the Dragon.
Jealous. Did that last June. Can't beat it.

That's gotta be one of the best days spent yet!  :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats on your beautiful new ride.

It was certainly one for the memory book. Thanks

FINALLY got the chance to get out and enjoy it for a short 100 mile trip to lunch and back. Broke 500 miles while we were at it ::) . Had the infotainment system lock up on me before we left the drive. Loaded a map and told it to start, had the ipod hooked up and playing then started the bike. The screen went to the FM mode and wouldn't change. Had no sound other than the nav voice. First stop I pulled the radio fuse for 10 seconds and put it back in. Worked fine after that. This GPS unit will take some getting used to for sure. It kept wanting me to get off the highway even though I didn't have any avoidance settings set and my preferred route was quickest. Gonna have to find a different windshield as Debi says she gets a lot of wind on the back with the top vent open. I'm thinking something with a recurve at the top like the LRS I had on my '11.

Did something I haven't done in waaaayyy to long. I RODE IT  :bananarock:
We went out for the afternoon to enjoy the (finally) spring temps, it was almost 70* today. It felt great getting on the bike after the winter we've had. I have no idea how many miles we actually went, but we did have to stop for gas   :2vrolijk_21: My wife likes the third audio control I installed, although she's still figuring out how to work the system because she's not used to being able to control the full range of the HK functions. She wanted to change the station and ended up cranking the volume  ::)- it was entertaining having her experiment with the controls. That being said I can't see why they don't come set up like this from the factory?? One thing that I like is I no longer have to guess if the volume is at a level she can enjoy, she already was changing stations whenever the mood struck her so I've almost gotten used to ignoring the stereo while we're riding two -up.

Not much, between a long stretch of travel, rain while I'm home or road construction, I have been pretty much grounded.  I'm looking for a turn for the better, but this weekend looks like rain.

The Gilded One is going into the shop for the third time within 1,000 miles, shocks won't hold air.  She's not too happy and neither am I.
