Gave it a very good detail and then rode to Mt Charleston (just outside Las Vegas) for some cooler weather and a bite to eat.

We headed over to Mountain Home via Bull Shoals.  The roads are awesome that way, twisty with nice elevation changes and mostly in good shape for rural Arkansas.  The picture below was taken at the Visitors Center which overlooks the Bull Shoals dam, which is the 5th largest concrete dam in the U.S.
It was well over 100 degrees here today with the heat index, so we waited until late afternoon to head out.  It was a beautiful ride, and put a smile on both our faces.  So good to be out again enjoying each others company on the bike we have both fallen in love with already.   :-*

I just got from visiting the in-laws in Cotter AR. I was thinking how nice it would be to ride a bike on all those nice winding roads.

It would've been cool to ride together, bro!  You were a long way from home!  Cotter is a really cool little town.  Kinda romantic and fun to drive thru.  Hope you had a good visit!

A couple days ago, got home from a 6881 mile 15 day trip to the west coast,  Rode the 101 from Arcata CA up to and around the Olympic Pensilua, and MT Rainer.  When I got home took the bike in for its 20K service.  Flew out to rig to work for 21 days, as soon as I'm off going to Ride it out to Sturgis.

Just got my 2009 FLTRSE3 upgraded to GMR's 113 kit by Steve! WOW! What a change for this bike, the DYNO Chart shows the results and I have to say that this bike rides so much better than before and is so much quieter, but does bark when you pull the throttle.  The GMR 113 Kit is "FUN" all in one package!

Installed Fullsac Stage1, 2" cores, DX pipe and steve's custom tts dyno map for my 15 CVO Limited. what can I say, major improvement, less exhaust temp, good sound, better fuel economy. just all around better 110!

The bad news was we experienced a rainy and overcast morning so I didn't ride - it's supposed to clear later. The good news was the mailman delivering the title to my CVO today - paid off with Eaglemark in 27-months...

Not today but yesterday and today.  Yesterday the old Road Glide swallowed two tanks of gas on a gorgeous day to be out riding.  Ended up surprising a 93 year old aunt for lunch.  Today the not quite as old Road King got through almost two tanks of its own during a day that was enough warmer than yesterday that I sweat through my shorts.

But it was still a good day for a ride.

Ran it about 10 times on a 1/8 mile drag stripe!  What a rush!
