Went to a nearby airfield to see the last flight of Avro Vulcan XH558. It's the only one in the world still flying but has now been grounded by lack of funds. What an awesome sight and what a noise. It did two low passes and set off car alarms!!

I looked at my CVO as I walked past it about 100 times this weekend, filling the garage with moving boxes full of household stuff. The Closets are already full of packed boxes, as is the basement. Never realized how much stuff we accumulated - and we thought we had the place cleaned up pretty good.

The movers show up 10/26 !!

The countdown begins......T-15days until we depart Connecticut for the last time as residents of that state.  I guess I'll always be a Da** Yankee to the locals, but look out Tennessee here we come  :orange:

Today I washed my bike then went for a leisurely 100 or so mile ride and collected some fresh bugs. First time I've been able to ride since I got back from the Maggie Valley GTG due to the weather, it has rained here every weekend and off and on through the weeks since.

Rode to Mt. Cheha park highest point in Alabama. Got in around 150 miles beautiful day for a ride. Here's a photo on the way up the mountain.

Took the scooter to the harley shop and they changed out my hydraulic clutch for the recall.   While it was there I had them put on heated grips. I must be getting old and circulation to the digits isn't is good.  Rode home in 50 degree air with just my half gloves.  Wow, I love them already!  It will make riding in Iowa this winter a lot more enjoyable.

Installed my 2nd fullsac DX pipe and went to the dyno. 96 hp and 107 tq w/stock mufflers Bob at Razorback Performance did a great job on the tune, said to put my 2" fullsac's back on but I think they are too loud so I will live wit a little less. Frankly I cannot tell the difference in the saddle.

Babe and I rode over to the Spring Valley Tailgate and BBQ contest.

Here's a shot of a couple of the Chargers cheerleaders warming up for the big loss today..... :P
