I took a ride on my bike after installing Ohlin #2 adjustables on the rear. What a friggin difference! I cannot believe the difference in the factory and aftermarket shocks performance wise. Not cheap at all but they really take the shock out of irregularities in the road at low and high speeds. Will soon be doing the Ohlin kit for the front asap.

Took a ride along the Amite and Tickfaw rivers between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA.

Spent a couple hours washing and waxing the bike.  The riding season may be coming to an end soon, snow is in the forecast, so that means the salt is coming soon.  Hopefully, will be able to carve out some time for a ride or two this weekend.

So you are happy with the Ohlin product.  How many miles did you ride?  How did it handle in the corners, potholes etc.  Money spent on the suspension is one of the best investments one can make.  When people talk about lowering their bike to look cool I just cringe.  Glad you are enjoying your new shocks

Hate reading these post although I'm not far behind you. Looks like we have a week of 60* weather next week and after that it's a crap shoot.  I'll clean mine up in the garage over the course of the winter. I like to tear everything off I can and spend a few days on it.

Took I-25 to Santa Fe today. Had lunch with the former Sales Manager from SFHD. Grab a couple of picture with my "flag" in a local Rally. One at a Starbucks in SF and the other at Iglesia San Jose (St Joseph's Church) in Cerrillos, NM on the way home down the Turquoise Trail, Hwy 14 Southbound. About 125 miles round trip. Turned 14k on my odometer. Only 1k to the next service. Looking forward to riding next weekend and hopefully into December. No garage blanket for me.

Added a Kuryakyn passenger drink holder. Picked it up for under $20.00 no box but new. Need to find a deal on one for 1 1/4 bars to match now.  Do you guys that have them leave the basket on all the time or only install when you have a passenger.  Also anyone ever have the basket come loose?

I've had the passenger cup holder on my bike for about 2 years now. I've never taken it off and it's never loosened up. I had the handlebar mounted rig but didn't like the look so I got rid of it. When Janet's riding with me we share her drink and when I'm solo I can easily reach back and grab my drink.

Thanks Joe.  Gave it a 200 mile road test today riding the mountain brow in Alabama up to Georgia and skirted Tennessee, it never moved.  Kept my water in it and could easily reach it. May not add a front one after all.
