We all know how hard it is to make the 2nd pic after the 1st pic...
Wasn't hard at all! Only took three wash/dry cycles to get every bit of dirt and then polish the "minimal" chrome on the bike. Only about 4.5 hours (1.5 hours for the wheels)!  :'(

Removed the reflectors from the front fork. Swapped the front turn signals with Custom Dymamic LED Ringz. Added a curved license plate bracket. Now it's time to ride...
Good for you! Go ride the CR-- out of it...

Got home at 0300 this am from town the bike home from Parsons TN.

I headed out for Bikes Blues and BBQ yesterday morning.  Beautiful day, great temperatures.  I taking all secondary roads, 280 miles into the trip, there was a loud metallic clank.  Then it sounded like the motor was full of ball bearings and making no power.  Pulled off immediately.  I'm pretty sure it dropped a valve.  I was on the 2015 SERGU, with only 42,694 miles on the bike and 12 days out of factory warranty.

Taking it to dealer this morning.

That really sucks. Will be interesting to see what they tell you. Side note, we rode over there last week while attending MV. Nice place they have.

Watched my 2009 FLTRSE3 without a motor installed collect dust at Red Rock H.D. awaiting engine cases from the Motor Company with VIN stamps.

Hate that Dave.  I'm still 6 months from factory warranty ending and undecided whether to take the ESP or get a builder to change out some of the worst of the trouble parts.  You do put a few more miles on your bikes than many of us but a nearly new bike should not develop major engine trouble in under 50 k miles.  I'm only at 16k in the year and half I've had the RGU.  Let us know how it goes.

Not exactly today, but had to tale the fender off the BO and send it over to Joe Z to try and stop the 'rust under the clearcoat' situation! :( Joe received it today. So for now I am the proud owner of a CVO BO Bobber!

Joe can fix it!  If I was you, I'd probably have the fender under coated like he did on mine, and I'd also have him paint 1/8" around the hole black to match the black.  The problem with the fender is the insert for the seat screw moves and breaks the clear exposing the bare metal.  If it was painted just a little bit, you wouldn't have to problem come back.  Or.....fill the hole!

I personally know another 2015 SERGU that had motor replaced at around 33K miles.  I know another that had a lifter issue at 40K miles and now mine, all 15's.

I friend I road to CA with Summer of 15 had the lifer go in his 14 CVO limited at 21K miles.

Seems its the 110's with the issues, not the 96" and 103" motors.

Bad news for sure, Dave.  Keep us posted.

I will keep y'all posted.

At dealer now being torn down.  I have a great relationship with service manager, general manager and owner.

Scott runs a very good ship at SMHD with some very good people working for him.  Good luck.

Did he have any CVO's on the showroom?  We were there a week ago and only one '17 SESG and it was being purchased.  Nothing else.

Sorry to read, Dave.  Lost my rear lifter just before 15K miles.  Tech told me he went through the motor  and bike. All has been well for 8K. Fingers crossed.   Good luck with yours.

Hmmm....not a bad idea! Although the rust was not connected to the whole at all. In fact the area under the skull was clean and clear.

Well the motor is being replaced.  It was not a dropped valve, but rather a lifter which took out lots of other stuff.

Been riding the CVO King the last couple days back and forth to see about the CVO RG Ultra.  Will ride the king again today.  Thank God for two bikes.
