Did a 250 round trip to Macon, GA, from 10:30am to 1:30am to meet up with a friend to be his wingman on the final leg of his BurnBurner GOLD 1,500 mi / 24 hour ride that began at 2:00am EST on Friday. 

Let's just say his 2016 Road Glide CVO has been racking up some miles over the past month... Don't believe he's on the forum, but an epic ride just the same: Atlanta to Memphis to New Orleans to Lake City and then back to Atlanta in under 24 hours.

The 114 is really nice.  100 percent stock it out performs the 110 in my old SERGU with pipes, and a good dyno tune by Doc.  Very smooth motor and very good torque.

Yes I miss the fixed fairing, especially over 80mph and at slow speed parking lot stuff.  I feel a bit clausterfobic on the batwing, every thin is right there on my lap.

New front suspension is also a very big improvement. 

I put just over 300 miles on her yesterday.

Road the CVO King home from dealer where I left it when I picked up the 17, took a few twisty roads on the way home.

Washed the 17 and installed some hwy pegs.  Hope to ride it some more today.

Finally got the cupped up, noise making POS stock tire off the rear of Orange Crush. Replaced with American Elite. Didn't know how screwed up the stock tire was until riding home on the fresh one, SMOOTH!!!

Supposed to have another add on in my hand tomorrow...will post pictures when installed...

Just installed  American Elite  2nd gen. Great  ride. Like a new bike after the cup stock Dunlops. I hope they don't cup in 8K miles this time. Billy

What caused the cupping?, there must be a reason the tire cupped.

Yeah, I strongly agree, much better than Harley's Duncraps!  These tires OEM Dunlops crack and cup.  The Dunlop AE's are a much better tire. :2vrolijk_21:

Day five of ownership, had the 1000 mile service done on the 17 SESG, have 1196 miles on it so far.  Today I will ride her to bike night.

At this rate you will be able to be the first to give this Group the first impression of the 2018 CVO Road Glide Ultra, because this bike will have to many miles on it to keep.

Pulled the radio, speakers, and amp from my 14. Going to replace the system with the new J&M Corp XXT ROKKER system.

Dang if I know. It started howling at around 5000 miles and I always checked the pressure keeping it at 40 PSI. By 6000 miles I had enough, but tires were on back order through Drag...Came off backorder and replaced at 9300 miles.

Just a design flaw  is what Dunlop tells me. Can't be helped. riding in a straight line is bad as it moves the tread and I wears on the side. . MY 07 SERK was worse s I thought maybe it was the radial rear tire. The 14 SERK lasts longer  and did not howl as bad as the 07/ Never had a front cup. Billy
