Yesterday just rode the King to the dealer and back.   Nice sunny day but 35 degrees for the 115 mile round trip.

Ordered a set of KST Kustom Pioneer bars in 10 inch. These are the 3 piece bars that allow for adjustment of pullback. The good news is that they had the bars in stock and they should be here tomorrow. The bad news is we had 10 inches of snow yesterday morning and it's hard to tell when I'll get them on.

Piece of advice on those bars. That rubber strip that's glued into the cross piece, put a strip of painter's tape around the bars to hold that strip in place or it can fall out real easy. Get them where you want them and crank the clamp bolts down properly.

Those bars look nice, to bad they don't make them for a street glide. I still can't decide on a set of bars.

They must have made a change on the Pioneers to eliminate the glued on piece. The directions still reference it, but it is gone and is replaced with knurling in the area where the clamp will contact it.

That's a good thing. I have the Spearheads on my '15 and got them shortly after they opened them for sale.

I believed the weatherman.  Said it was going to get up to 45 degrees and 0% chance of rain.  So I rode the CVO Road Glide to SMHD, never got above 35.  On the way home, 40 miles from home it started sleeting and temp dropped to 32.  Not quite was was predicted or I had planned.  Thank God for heated gear.

Yesterday, I had to replace the shifter shaft and front arm.  It stripped the splines.  It needs to be checked periodically to be sure the arm is on tight, the set screw tightened and the arm as tight as it can be on the outter primary.  One more thing to add to the list

If your weren't stomping on it with a size 16 boot, it may last longer. Lol
