Picked up a cable to go from USB to USB-C for 9 dollars at Best buy.  Updated the amplifier software yesterday.  Rode 87 miles yesterday testing the update.  Its suppose to fix the AVC and the amp cutting out for a couple seconds and some other things.  Amp did not cut out on short ride, Automatic Volume Control seemed fine.

I looked into the cvo street glide yesterday and other than the fancy display and a few suspension upgrades there’s just not enough to make the switch for me.

I just got back from a 5 day trip through AZ and after my long upgrade to my 2019 cvo, I’m still amazed how hard it pulls in overdrive!
Averaging 41-48 mpg at mostly normal speeds , high winds, 7000’ to -212 below sea level. The bike ran like a Swiss watch.
Coming up on 60k for the big motor and about 50 k on the grudge box. Everything working fine.

Next step is to service the front forks and maybe upgrade those as well since I got them off, still debating!

It’s coming on fall here, time to start making plans for more local trips around the Southwest.

The new bike with the HD branded Sena 50S AVC works for bike speakers and helmet speaker.  What shocked me, was even play music though bike speakers, if you turn the wheel on the Sena the volume goes up.  If playing though helmet speaker wheel on Sena or bike volume turn it up.

Rainy day yesterday, so no ride.  Did get the heated gear plug out from under seat. Barley enough slack in cord to get it out from under seat.

Was going to Change chain and sprockets on Pan America Special.  No master link in Chain.  To remove chain you have to remove center stand, chain guards, rear fender.  Thought it would be a simple task as it's a basic maintenance item.

Had the 5K service performed at SMH-D yesterday with 5565 miles on the bike. They also did a BCM update which has only been out a week.  Was a chilly 43 degree ride over, but a beautiful 68 degree ride home.

5565 miles on that brand new bike......now that's what I'm talking about. You didn't buy that scooter to admire in the garage........you bought it to ride it like you stole it. Good for you!!!!

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny 74 degree day in East TN.  So I took a nice 101 mile ride.  We have had a great November so far, unseasonably warm and dry.

Took my outer fairing off to diagnose my stereo problem.  My diagnoses is: it’s toast!  Gotta do some research this weekend and order a new one🤦🏼‍♂️

My modified seat and back rest arrived today from Bad Boyz Cyclez. Came out even better than I was hoping. Looks amazing and so much better to ride.  George hit it out of the park on this one. I would truly recommend this option for anyone with a new cvo rg or sg.
