Installed the Chopped Tour Pack on my Whiskey Neat yesterday.  Second time trying, Harley did not include mounting Hardware with the Tour Pack or the key matched lock.  Also no Instructions with either.  I was able to print instructions for mounting the Tour Pack so I could get the mounting Hardware at ACE.  Being the lock is a dealer only item I could not get the instructions on line to figure out the two button head cap screws I needed.  So a trip to the dealer, 56 miles one way.  They don't have then in stock, but they give me the size.  Yesterday, I found out the size they gave me is wrong.

I did put the tour pack on, then took an 85 mile ride.  I think it looks pretty good.

Clear 3M film installed so putting on and off tour pack or luggage rack I don't scratch the paint

Very nice addition to the bike and “practical” as well.
My local dealer is 3 miles away and not only do I call with the part number but have the parts guy pull the part, bag it and save it on the cabinets. Too many times they say they have it but don’t.
If they have to order it, I’ll get it on line myself and sent to my door, usually cheaper.

I like to support the local dealer when I can, but they only work on and stock parts for new bikes.

Tried out my new Insta360 camera for the first time. Not the most exciting footage and still learning the software. This thing is going to be awesome on the long trips through the mountains. With the 360 capability you can change viewing angles AFTER it's already been recorded and downloaded to your phone.

Footage taken on February 4th in Nashville, Indiana.

It's quick detach.  It will be on most the time riding local and for two to three night trips.  For anything longer, it will come off and my luggage rack will go on with my T-Bag Route 66 which can carry much more clothing.

Took a little 108 mile ride on a beautiful day yesterday.  Got the correct button head cap screws to install the lock on my chopped tour pack.  Got the lock installed.  All and all a great day.

Took the front forks apart yesterday to change the settings on my gold valves for a little softer ride.
Decided to change the fork fluid at the same time.
Being a bat wing fairing, it’s pretty easy to R&R the front end.
We’ve got rain most all week but I’ll sneak in a ride later to try out the new setup.

I got in a short 53 mile ride on a sunny 59 degree day in East TN.  Got the new registration for this bike and the 03 Fatboy.

Well

After three months of non-riding I decided to see if Ol Orange Crush would still start up. It was really cold in the bunker, and she turned over really slow, but did light up. So I decided that even though my tags are dead to take a little spin around Bluefield. The old girl seemed to enjoy the attention as much as I enjoyed finally getting her out.

Dug the '15 out of hibernation and went to a few dealers looking to trade it off on a new 24 RG in Whiskey Fire with the black package on it. Will sure miss those power locks if I can make a deal I like.

Good luck, hope you are able to make the deal.  I really want to see that color in person.  I wonder how close it is to my Whiskey Neat.

It's quite a bit different. Think a brighter orange vs the deeper "honey" tone in yours

The Whiskey Fire is very floppie, meaning it changes color depending on the lighting. Looks anywhere from Red to Orange and shades in between. I like it

Update: suspension working great!
Took a short ride up to the local mountains to check out the snow, looks pretty from below on the dry roads! LOL

Maybe I'll ride it down this summer for you to look closer.
