Definitely so.  Sometimes you wake up in the morning and realized that what you were partaking of the evening before was just skanky.  Though in that evening before you were sure she was just beau......      you were sure it was delicious brew.

Said the same thing about tequila and stuck w/ it for a good many years. Despite my best efforts, some vows are just meant to be broken. I glad I came back.

This is one those things that one taste will bring back that "big head" that I had and I don't want to repeat it. There are other products by Anheuser-Busch I can drink, but just can't do Budweiser.

i like a lot of diffrent kinds depnds on my mood. i tend to lean toward IPA and red beers.

i also brew my own  :drink:

Yea I've been doing it for a while, Designed and Built my own Recalculating Infusion Mash Brewing System (RIMS) with a motorized mash paddle for better grain utilization and thermal stability of the mash.

Here are a few pics of my two level system,

The heart of the system is my custom designed mash tun with motorized mixer
did someone say obssesive compulsive, i'm in denial

[

The motor is attached to the lid with a two piece drive shaft for easy removal after mashing is completed

It was constructed by using an inverted Guinness keg, because the bung is threaded, it was easy to make a fitting to screw into it and create a conical drain under the false bottom.

Ahhh the sweet smell of fresh barley & hops, it don't get much better than this.

All commercial beers SUCK!!!!! if I'm not drinking my beer, I'll be at the local Micro! JMHO

What a great setup Eagle1.  Wondering...... being your neighbor when your brew is ready....  many advantages there.

My mororcycle jack has never been put to such a unique use either.

Friend of mine was doing the stove top boil, white pails, etc. until he moved into his new house.  Now he has a brew room - tanks, boiler, etc.    He said his production is around 100 gallons per year as I recall.  For some reason, my recollections of his brew room, production, etc. are a bit fuzzy.

Not setup exactly like Eagle1, but similar.

Or as some say - just like that, only different.

methinks you now have a use for one of your "secret" rooms...improve your operation and develop a ratskeller!

I drink Bud Light. It's everywhere, you can buy it on tap in every bar and restaurant in the country!  Well, most of them anyway.  I can't drink those dark and heavy beers.  I'm full after the first 6 or 8, no room for the last 15!
