I got the Harley one and don't like it.  I put a small water bottle in it and the arm flexes up and down when you put it in and out.  Very difficult to get it in and out of the holder.  Going to try the HogTrough.

i dont have that problem it works great with a water bottle
not trying to be funny but it is a rigid mount are you sure you have the bolts tight

Hey gabe.....I did it your way and it works great!!  I had tried deciding what to do on this scoot and seen what you did and off for the 90 miles to the dealer.  Works like a charm the way you did it, not in the way and I have tried 3 different size bottles and they all seem to work fine!! Thanks for sharing your idea!!!  Oh yea only difference in the way yours looks versus mine is mine is on a red one...... LOL   :apple:

I was going to post a picture of it here with my tall stainless cup in it and then decided not to, but I have had different size cups in the holder and most I use work great!!!

I have probably over tightened the bolt that holds the long arm and it still flexes up & down.  My standard bicycle water bottle holder doesn't even fit.  I'd better the holder itself cause something doesn't seam right.
