Anyone know if the 04 SEEG bars have the same rise and pullback as the stock bars that come on the other bikes in the Electra Glide familiy?
I'm thinking about intsalling a set of 1-1/4 Wild 1 575 bars which have app. 2" more rise and pullback than the stock FLHT bars. I just want to make sure that they do have more rise and pullback than the SEEG bars before plunking down the $ for the bars.

Yes, the Wild 1 575 bars are chrome and set up for internal wiring. With the larger diameter I bet I could also add heated grips and keep all the wires inside the bars.
Here's a link to the WIld 1 sit with pics of the 575 bars on FLHTs

Check my homepage..I have these bars on my bike and love them! They definatley have the rise pullback stated...but I had to replace my brake line to make them fit..

Thanks for the info.. good to see that the Wild 1 575 bars do have more rise and pullback than the stock SEEG bars.
A couple more (well three) questions... Other than the brake line, did you have to reroute the clutch line and throttle cables? Do you happen to have the part number for the brake line you used? Also, was the wiring for the controls long enough?

I think this are just what the doctor ordered, [smiley=thumbsup.gif] I put 1 1/4 bars on my road king and the only problem was the hydralic clutch hit the handlebar and leaves a 1/8 inch gap that you hardle notice.

You win Howie!

If you are running a single rotor/caliper combo you will need a 44" brake line.

Brian...... this was a joke. This thing's been dead for 3 years. ;D
Howie's just causing trouble.
