I've enjoyed being a member of this forum and I hope I've contributed ocassionally.  I can't wait for your hip to heal and you get back in the saddle.  Definitely want to hook up and do a ride and swaps some lies over coffee.   How's the rehab coming?

Started outpatient rehab yesterday. It went well, but I found out I have a long way to go. Lost a lot of strength and flexibility while compensating for joint pain. Surprising how quickly you loose muscles when not used. PT asked me what my goals were and my number one goal was to be able to ride my bike late spring/early summer. He didn't see any reason that shouldn't be accomplished. He did say it's going to take some work, but not impossible. I'm going to be putting in the time doing the exercises twice a day, going to physical therapy twice a week, and make it happen.

Just take it easy and slow and do it right, which it sounds like you're doing.  Don't rush it, because the better you heal, the more quality time in the saddle you'll have later on.  We've got a whole riding season ahead of us, and you've got plenty of time to get up to speed to enjoy it.
