When the stock cylinders are sleeved with a .090 wall ductile iron sleeve they are very stable.

Not something just anyone can do either

MTC seems to have a pretty good track record , beyond that pretty  slim pickings

@ $675 plus honing to size....I suppose if you want a stealthy 117-124 it might be an option

What are the Ductile Iron Liners like for longevity, do they wear quicker than standard Cast Iron?

Better than the factory cylinders and comparable to the after market cylinders

I have used Darton sleeves successfully. No more, too much work not enough profit, plus I can just sell S&S cylinders and they work quite well.
Had one sleeved cylinder get stinking hot, so hot it burned off the powder coat, I thought the piston would have seized, perfect, and no bore distortion.

Ductile iron is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay tougher than the OE cast iron.
On severall occasions we had purchased Dura-Bar from MSC Industrial Supply and machined our own fin-less cylinders for clients 1/4 mile bikes.
Ron Trock Sr.(RIP) used to melt down 18" sections of railroad rail, and use them in his "stew" for his cylinders.
