Thanks for everyones warm words, and for an update the Jester will be in the shop for an estimated 3 months! It seems to take a while for them to get all the parts over here???? But you never know they could get the parts sooner, but knowing this place I doubt it.

John,
Best wishes to your friend, and definitely do try to get him to join the forum...now would be a good time for him to do that, we can help him rebuild his Jester.  We have the technology, we can make it better, faster.  :D  Fortunately, he's on the mend.  Bikes (even CVO's) can be replaced, but your friend never could be.  Glad to see that he's up and about and healing.
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

Glad your friend is OK. He and his scoot will heal up in no time and he will be back in the wind with a story to tell. Later,Q

Hey guys and gals,
I just worked a bike wreck with an 03 Ultra, head on with a Suzuki SUV.  SUV turned infront of the the Ultra.  Ultra was at about 35-40 mph, unknown on the SUV.  The rider, a Harley tech at the local dealer, was life flighted to a trauma center.  It was a customer's bike, they had just put on new tires.  He was conscious, alert, and spoke about his pain, so that is a plusas far as recovery goes.  I just wanted to say please be careful out there this season.  BTW, the Ultra is totalled but probably took the majority of the impact from the rider and I will be shopping for a full face helmet this weekend as a result of today.
