It's Saturday afternoon and Kayla is stable, she has been moved from UC Davis to Kaiser in Roseville, Jon has been  by her side, her tummy has returned to the status they predicted it would, her nose tube has been removed and her catheter too.

Today she has found out that she can get in and out of bed herself and that there is a play room just down the hall and she wants some real food, only getting broth and jello for now!

Jon and I are so grateful for all the prayers and support ALL our friends have sent out way.  Hopefully, Kayla will end up at our home where we can assure her safety.  Asking for prayers for that too and any advise would be helpful.

Headed up to see them as soon as I get off work and will post new pictures, bet I can even get a smile, I hope!!!!

Susan and Jon

Thanks  for all the prayers....Kayla is doing so much better. They are talking about release on monday, hope it is to us instead of bio-mom. Guess time will tell. Hoping to hear from CPS monday morning. I just put both my girls (Susan and Kayla) to bed and think I will follow that thought. Good night all my friends...... Jon

Glad to see she is doing so well and looks so happy.  It's always so sad and scary to see the little ones injured.  I hope she recovers fully and everything turns out in her best interest.
