LED gauge bulb replacement
« on: August 30, 2020, 09:10:05 AM »

Well, I've got my fairing apart and want to replace my gauge bulbs with LEDs. 05 SEEG. Have a source?

I used Superbright led bulbs years ago in my 04.  Made a huge difference.  Stuart. 👍

I did a search here and saw that site mentioned. They have a lot of different types of the "small wedge" type bulbs. I assume that is the type of connector I need. Do you remember how many you used? 4 gauges plus speedo and tach makes 6?

I don't remember that the speedo and the tach were an issue. It was the four small gauges that needed help.  They have red that would match the 2 larger gauges.   Simple install once you pull off the outer fairing. Stuart.

You can't change them in the speedo and tach.  No removable bulbs in them.  Just the four small gauges.

Yep.  Get the red ones.  You will be very happy.  👌 Stuart

Just found the thread on tach and speedo. Went ahead and ordered for gauges. Tuning up for Maggie. Thanks guys.
