So I’m working out the bugs on setting up my S20 headset with my Boom Audio. Here’s my problem. I had my wife call me and I called her several times while riding and just in the garage on Acc. mode and it sounds like she’s breaking up and she said she can hear me clearly without any background noise on her end. Anyone I’m talking to sounds like their breaking up.

Make sure you have both to the newest software

Yes, you need to update the headset software and also the WHIM software.  That should help.  Also sometimes disconnecting the headset unit from the helmet mount and reconnect works.  Had that happen twice in 30K miles.

If you're in your garage with florescent lights on, that could be the problem.  Try with the lights off.  Florescent light ballast's generate a tremendous amount of radio noise.

I updated the boom audio and headset has the latest update. The next question is, Where on boom audio can I find what version I have for WHIM.

I don't believe it tells the version for the Whim anywhere in the Boom, I only updated mine once, it told me what version when I plugged it into the PC and selected the BT device manager, then you could see the current version and the new version.
