There is a software glitch with Garmin Nuvi 7x5 series, 800 series, and Zumo 660. It will give a message that there is a firmware update completed and then when you OK it, it will no longer power up. If you go to Garmin and get the mandatory update and install it, you won't be stuck with a dead GPS that has to be sent back to Garmin. Use the Webupdater available on Garmins web site to connect your GPS and obtain the update.
