One small suggestion that hasn't been mentioned; have the chrome bolt kit installed on the primary, rocker, cam and transmission covers when they have the bike apart if you change your exhaust system.  The nickel plated bolts look like crap on those nice covers.  I can't believe Harley would assemble such an expensive bike and put nickel plated bolts on them.  I'll get some pics soon, I had it done on my bike when I had the Rinehart true duals, SE intake and SERT installed.  I also needed my rocker boxes ground due to valve spring clearance issues.

Extended warranty.  If you ride a passenger much, changing the pegs to boards makes a big difference for them.  The 08s already have the IDS or that would be my next suggestion.  As far as making a lot of engine mods right away, I'd ride it for awhile first and see what you think.  There seems to be quite a bit of difference between how they run stock; some people have heat problems, others don't.  Some people have lots of noises from the engine and drive train, others only a few.  In the end it's your bike and you can do what you want with it, but you don't have to do the usual list of things most people do.
