Dropped my bike off yesterday at my motor builder for chain drive conversion... After blowing through 3 belts, My riding style!!! I needed to make the switch... I’m also having him Put Kraus Tbars with Gauge relocation on it... Front fat tire kit too... My bike will be ready for Daytona this March..

went almost 400 miles today and really had a blast! amazing with Harley how much a difference removing the cat and a tune makes! On my BMW it only picked up a few TQ and HP though I used a canned map (not sure anyone knows how to tune those or if even possible). Made that bike better for sure but not even the same hemisphere as the Harley as far as changing bike

Did a short 150 mile ride on the CVO King yesterday.  First time I've been on a bike since 2 Nov.  Got home late Saturday from Houston MD Anderson after my stem cell transplant. 

Nice to be on the bike and clear my head.

Yes, Stem Cell Transplant.  Diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, Stage III last December.  Started Chemo in January.  In July my cancer was down enough for a Stem Cell Transplant, but COVID would not allow it.  Finally in November I could go to Houston to have it done.  Started the process Nov 4th.  Got cleared to go home on Dec 11th.

Yea, its pretty serious.  While in patient for transplant, second best nurse to patient ratio there is, only ICU has a better ratio.  Chemo does there before transplant was extremely hi.  Once it killed all my white blood cells, all my plasma and such, I got the stem cells transplanted to rebuild my blood. 

Hopefully my cancer will be in remission for 12 plus years.  I'll be on a maintenance Chemo the rest of my life.

Other than the two months at MD Anderson it has not slowed me down, first ten months, while doing chemo I rode 28,000 miles.

That's a tough row to hoe. Nice that you're back home Dave. MD Anderson is the best. Back at the end of 13 my girlfriend was given 18-36 months, went to MD in Houston for treatment which included surgery and qualified for, and has been receiving experimental drug treatment through the UW (satellite program of MD Anderson here in Washington) since, and is now almost cancer free.

I'll be rooting for ya big guy!
