There are new Firmware updates for the BOOM box also for the Whim and the new 19 GTS system.
This is the list of fixes for the Boom Box so they say.
BOOM!™ BOX PREMIUM CVO

I do not believe this list of fixes is true or correct I think the only thing this update does is Enable new P&A headset compatibility .
• Arrival time showed the current time after user deviated from a route.
• Next turn area displayed an arrow with the current street name.
• Special Alpha Jump characters were not displayed.
• The SMS (Short message service) repeat button wouldn’t read the message clearly if pressed multiple times before it has completed the readout.
• Audio paused after loading a ringtone.
• VR (Voice recognition) not working after an ignition cycle.
• Local media preset inconsistent between shutdowns.
• User was unable to search for preferred POI (Point of interest) after simulation sleep.
• Constant “Game Start” pop-ups.
• Presets from USB (Universal serial bus) drive 1 were still visible on USB drive 2 but not highlighted as available.
• Albums and artists heading were mismatched with list.
• AM (Amplitude modulation) radio presets not highlighted when USB was unplugged.
• Repeat button NOT enabled on first selection.
• Pre-cal reset did not delete trails.
• Accept screen appeared for less than 15s after exiting User Off mode.
• Saving or editing emergency number did not work.
• No Siri® pop-up displayed while saving an emergency number.
• Text was missing in the maneuvers list after switching to high contrast mode and then back.
• No initial Siri pop-up initiated.
• Cancel noise was heard when going from VR to Siri.
• Prompt Volume was not updated after changes in Feedback Settings.
• GPS (Global positioning system) entry changed W(O) to E in Spanish.
• WHIM (Wireless headset interface module) – Low battery pop-up was not shown for passenger headset.

It's the same one for CVO and Non CVO. I was a little nervous the first time I updated too but it worked fine and still retained the CVO Splash Screen on start up.

Also did a flawless install but, I didn’t find any sign of what they fixed, did anyone else find it? Was just curious.

The main thing I noticed was it fixed what to do with about 30 minutes (download/upload time) out of my day.

Not gonna waste my time, sounds like update for older bikes ('16 RGU) is not noticeable. Gonna save my 30 minutes when report say it is worth it.

Wow, they do not have all the same pages. The software update page I found did not have the CVO, just the premium GTS, but it also had update for WHIM, and for Headsets.
This pages only has GTS software for premium and CVO.

Dave, The link posted is for BOOM! Box 6.5GT update 1.22.0.2. For the 2019 CVO I believe you need the BOOM! Box GTS update MY19.02.02.1

Yes, I see the the second time I looked. Would have helped if I read more closely.
Has anybody been able to install the new BOOM GTS version MY19.02.02.1 using a MAC book?
I never had a problem installing radio software with the MAC on the GT 6.5. But sure cant seem to do it for the GTS with a MAC.

How did you find this info? I just checked for it and they've changed the site between the last two times I've updated my radio.

Just a heads up for anyone that has a upgraded audio system using a DSP. I had my 5000 service last week and they did the updates but when I got on the bike to ride Sat the system sound was "off". Went for a 400 mile ride and didn't t really see any benefit with the updates so went by the dealer on the way home and had them flash the old program back in which fixed the audio. On Monday I called the shop that did the system and he said he could flash the DSP to fix the system in just a few minutes if I wanted to go ahead a redo the updates. Since I didn't really care about what the updates did after riding all day with it I decided to wait until next update that I feel is worth it.

Thanks for update. Weird. Posted last week here that I had no issues skipping way points or turns being off. Wonder why I am not having issues you are on my '19 RG Special?

I have a 2016 CVO Limited. My current software version is 1.20.3.
My question is can I jump all the way up to the current version 1.22.02 or do I need to find all the older versions and do each update?
My mind is blank today, does this bike have the boom box GTS, boom box 6.5 GT or boom box 4.3?

Chief you can skip to current or latest update. Your system is neither of the models you listed, it is the 6.5 Prem CVO. Keep scrolling and you will find it on the download page.

Can I put the software update and the map update on the same jump drive or should I download the software update, install it, then download the map update and install it?

Update first. Then either wipe the drive or use a separate one for the map update. The system will go crazy (well, crazier than it is) if it sees two updates on the same drive.

Ok thanks! I think I need a fingerprint from the bike anyway, so I can download the software from the stick to the bike then download the fingerprint from the bike to the stick. Erase the software update and then obtain my new maps free!

Dear friends,
Do not install this update (1.22.0.2) if you intend to save your favorite addresses into GPS memory!!!
I just updated my Boombox 6.5GT from version 1.22.0.1 to version 1.22.0.2 and I am not able to save my favorite addresses into GPS memory anymore (HD fixed several bugs and added some!).
I tried to perform the rollback to version 1.22.0.1 but I cannot find it anymore in HD website. The dealership said is not possible to do the rollback and now I need to wait HD releases a new software update.

My favorites reloaded no problem. Maybe try to reload the update?

Did you try to save a new address in your device?
Try searching for a new address and save it on the Boombox memory.
In my case I am getting the following error message:
Error importing destination!
In another forum people are reporting the same problem.
