Babe and I had the pleasure of meeting Kirk when we were on the east coast about 18 months ago.......after communicating with him for several years here in this group and via email. He and his wife took us out for lobster dinner and then gave us the $1.98 tour of their town. A really nice guy! Prayers up for Kirk and his family!

My deepest sympathies to family and friends.

Miss Paula and I were notified of the terrible news on Friday and we both send our deepest sympathies to Kirk's family. There really are no words to express my personal sadness, he was a tremendous person with never a cross word to say about anyone, an extremely gifted photographer and we have several of his works hanging proudly in our home. It always amazed me how he kept a positive attitude, at least publicly, throughout his battle with the "C" word, I'm not sure I could do that. I am honored to have known him and call him a friend.
We will miss you Kirk, may you rest in peace my friend.

I would like to share that the more I rode with Cam and Kirk the more I enjoyed it. I the cancer came back full force God gave me the opportunity to speak to Kirk about where he would spend eternity. He shared with me how he accepted God's gift of salvation by accepting Jesus as his savior, great news. During his last week I ask my friend as he was preparing to die what could I do for him as I was praying everyday for him. He said " Pray for my family that I will leave behind." It really touched my heart!
See you soon my brother
