Other than the fact that the seat hurts my @$$ because of the elements and stitching for them ......not so far. Of course, not much call to use em in the desert here.  :2vrolijk_21:

What is your issue??

Your hand grips will burn out a couple times before the warranty expires.....

The seat  :nixweiss: Personally I have not heard of any issues.

I will say from experience the heated seats on the 09 work better, or they are hotter then my 06 was.

I replaced the heated grips on my 07 at the beginning of the cool weather and in the middle.  Four times all under warranty.

No issue with the seat.

The grips will stop working after awhile. If you have an extended warranty you're covered. If not, replace with Heat Demons.
The seat should have no problems. If it is not working, make sure it is plugged into the right plug under the seat. There are two under there. One is auxiliary switched.

Replaced my heated grips 4 times under warranty finally went with the heat demons as alot of folks on this site have.  Replaced stock seat (never had a problem with stock seat except after 75 miles my azz hurt) with a Corbin Dual Tour and now have a Corbin solo with a pillion - Both Great Improvement over stock.

Found out why heated seat did not work. Someone had posted that there were two connector terminals under the seat and sure enough when I plugged it into the other I have heat and works great . Thanks for the info.

The other connector runs through the accessory switch, and you probably, like most people unless you have accessories hooked up, keep that switch off.  That is a common mistake that dealers make when they are putting the bike together for delivery.  I've not had any problems with (knock on wood) either my grips or my seat.  Still running the OEMs on both.  Have to agree though, that I get a case of the monkey @$$ after about 75 miles. :(
