Hi,

I'm Andy, I live in Gloucestershire in England and I should (hopefully) be picking up my Hard Candy Mercury CVO Street Glide in 2-3 weeks!

It's only my 2nd Harley (I had a 2013 Street Glide) but this will be the 36th bike (I think) as I've had all sorts (British, Italian, German & Japanese).

Since the late 90s I've almost exclusively been riding BMWs but was getting fed up of modern BMWs and the new style of BMW dealers (big fancy showrooms, know very little about the bikes) and almost gave up motorcycling for good but tried the touring Harleys and ended up buying the 2013 Street Glide and it rekindled my love for biking. I had niggles with the 2013 bike and sold it at 1 year old with 14.5k miles on it and I should have bought a Rushmore model but I made a big mistake and bought a K1600GT Sport BM instead.....  Big mistake, quickly realised but took a lot longer to sell the BM compared to the HD and it devalued a lot more even with less miles on it.

But its all good now (nearly) - I never thought I'd buy a CVO but was just stunned when I saw the 2015 CVOs on youtube. Even so I couldn't bring myself to put any money down til I'd seen the paint in the flesh, once I had I was convinced.

I've never had to wait this long for a bike and its killing me!

Anyway, I've been lurking here for ages trawling for useful info (and it has been very useful) but thought it was time to say hi.
