2019 RG CVO fang and lowers. possible?
« on: September 14, 2018, 01:10:22 PM »

I haven't seen anyone post any pics of a new 2019 w the fangs yet and I have not seen one live either.  I really appreciate the lowers on my bike primarily for the wind management benefits but I also like to have speakers in the lowers.  I have seen how you can add lowers to the 2018's by changing out the crash bar and the fairing mount.
Has anyone looked into adding lowers to the 19's?  Assuming that you swap out the crash bar and mount, would the lowers hit the fang? even if it didn't would the lowers look good?  If it did hit I would presume that a body shop could modify the lowers.  Any insight would be helpful.  Thanks

I did look into it and no way to do it without losing "the fang". I choose to stick with it, looks amazing in person!

Does the fang help keep wind / rain off your legs or are they just decorative???

From the looks of it the lower "Fang" part would be 100% decorative, but the upper part that is attached to the bottom of the fairing definitely has some wind management possibilities! In my case the Fang would go bye bye and lowers would be added.

JMO and congrats to the people picking up the 19s!!!
