Garmin GPS 478 with XM Weather
« on: June 25, 2009, 04:38:27 PM »

Ok, quick question.

Who has a 478 & subscribes to the XM Weather?  What subscription do you have & what do you pay for it?  Not looking for XM Radio, already have that on the MC.

Thanks

I have the 478 and subscribe to the following XM Services:

Service          Package                                                Payment Plan
XMWX Marine  XM WX Master Mariner Service                  Recurring
Audio             XM Family Plan Multi Year Service - 5 Year  5 Year
NavTraffic       XM NavTraffic Premium                            5 Year

XM bills my credit card $149.97 every three months for the XMWX Marine Service. Example:
05/19/2009 - 08/19/2009 XM WX Master Mariner $149.97

I have the "Fisherman's" package which costs $29.99 per month billed every three months. It used to be that you could turn it off once a year for "off season" use without penalty. Not sure if they still do it. Either way it well worth it to me.
