good morning all,

I have been checking out all the talk about getting rid of the stock chain/cam setup and going with a gear drive setup and was wondering if we could start a poll on which cam everyone has choosen.

I recently talked to the Andrews rep at the V-Twin show in Cinci and he indicated that gear drive cam set-ups should ONLY be used after the cam runout has been determined to be less than or equal to 0.002".    Apparently the motor company has a wide degree of variation from motor to motor.

Does anyone have any comments or results on this runout check?  How should this be verified prior to installation of gear drive cams?
