Wide Whites
« on: February 27, 2014, 09:28:19 PM »

I will need new tires this season on my 2012 CVO Convertible. I am thinking about wide whitewalls. I don't have any pictures nor do I know if they make wides for the rear tire size. Was wondering what you all think. I am looking for some opinions.
Thanks,
john

Personally wouldn't go with white walls on my conv, but it is your bike so go for what you want.  If you don't like them, then you'll just have to rack up the miles, wear out the tread, and buy a new set.

Hey Mandrew,
Thanks for the input. Not sure what I will do. Just thinking it would make it a little different since I have not seen any convertibles with them...maybe there is a reason??? ;D
Thanks again!

Gotta agree with Mandrew.  Not my scoot, not my choice...this one's all yours.

a pain in the butt to keep clean, but if you like the look do it, personalization is what we're all about.

I agree. There are only a few rides that look good with Whitewalls.

Agreed - there are some bikes that look like they should have them (a Softail Deluxe comes to mind), but others it will probably be like oil and water.  The bikes that have more retro-looking styling will make it work.
