Well I got my new CVO limited 2 weeks ago!
« on: April 03, 2014, 09:28:20 PM »

I traded in my 2010 CVO and just love my new 2014 CVO limited bike. The blue is beautiful and the bike rides great! We have almost 500 on her and she has run great in traffic, the highway and the mountains!  My wife loves her too.  I have just two questions to Harley:  1. I don't know why they had to have two key fobs. I was told it was because one was to small. I would rather have had a slightly bigger fob than two! 2. It is not an improvement (according to me) to have the bike turn of everything when I shut her down. I liked having the lights and radio on while I was getting everything adjusted after a ride.  Other than those it has been a pure joy!

You can have the radio on after you turn bike off. Hold the "trigger switch" down, on top of the left control switch housing and the radio and accessories come on.

Well, how 'bout that.  I was wondering about the same issues on the one I sat on at K'ville HD this past weekend.  I'll try that next time I'm there....

I know the trigger switch will put the bike in accessory mode, I just don't like having to do that. Old habits!   I get the feeling that the speedometer is reading high. I plan to test this over the weekend but I was wondering if anyone had noticed this or not?  It may just be me!

Mine's a month old and am still getting used to it. I got the blue one. I moved from a 2004 Heritage Softail that I bought new and, in comparison, the complexity of the CVO is distracting at times. Need to ignore the gadgets while in traffic. It's a great ride and am looking forward to many miles with it. Would like to change out the exhaust system soon. Concur with you on the fob/key combo. I'm sure there is a good reason for keeping it separate but it hasn't occurred to me yet. Would also like the display to show what gear I'm in when the clutch is engaged. Ride safe!

Yes I thought the same thing about the gear display with the clutch in. All in all a great bike so far!
