My 2014 StreetGlide Special has those "mag type" aluminum wheels with a brushed finish along the rim edge.  Not sure what the hell it was,  but something "splashed" up onto the brushed surface of the front wheel and left a whitish splash mark in several spots.

Whatever it is,  it seems to have "tatooed" itself to the surface.  I've tried polishing compount and  other polishes and nothing seems to faze removing those spots.   I had months before,  applied that S-100 (Anti corrossion) spray to those surfaces on both wheels,  but it didn't seem to stop these spots/splashes from occurring.

I was thinking about trying some vinegar but believe I read somewhere that one shouldn't apply that to aluminum.

Any ideas on what might get these spots off my rims..............

I wish I could help you but the MOCO should be ashamed of putting that finish on those wheels for the very reason you are asking.  Hope someone has the answer.  Good luck!

Try wiping some Armor-All on the spots.... had something similar happen to wheels on my truck and wiped it/them w/Armor-All and they disappeared.

I recently purchased my scoot and the po didn't remove the bags to clean the rim often enough.The belt and brake crap starting leaving hard to remove spots.I used NEVERDULL and returned the BLING factor with serious finger action.Works the nuts on chrome pitting.

I had something like that happen to my 2010 and the Wizard product worked pretty good at cleaning it up. Lots of elbow grease.

You might try a Dremel type tool with a polishing tip.  I used this and abrasive metal polish on a set of Superglide wheels with good results.  A buddy of mine just had his stock wheels powder coated...no more problems and less than $100 a wheel.

Tape off the painted parts with QUALITY tape, then use mag wheel cleaner. It will make the spots of away, may take a couple applications but it will go away with a little effort and maybe some fine steel wool or a 3M scuff pad and is water soluble.
