lid lock???
« on: March 29, 2005, 07:49:29 PM »

Ok guys and gals....

Where in the H**L do you store your lid when you park?  There is no place to lock it??? I've been faking it and clipping it on my floor board or just carry it depending on where I am.  Is there a aftermarket lid lock that can be installed??

ABUS makes a combination lock (no extra key to carry) with a 4" bail. It is large enough to go through one of the front brake rotor holes and grab the helmet ring. Double duty as a rotor lock.

ABUS is a German company I believe, with a good rep for locks. Found mine at a West Marine  store. I'll take a picture and post it later if interested.
