Running too lean and hot burnt out all the baffle insulation material.  It probably happened before I installed the not catalyst V&H PowerDuals head pipes.

Yeah thats some good stuff, I use it on on my ol pan head pipes,really makes them nice.Takes a lot of elbow grease though

Been using Blue-Job for years...it gets all sorts of blueing and other burned things off the pipes and heat shields without damaging the chrome.  Great stuff.
