I was just curious if anyone has used and liked/disliked the leather conditioner that came with the 2013 RG's. Im sure it came with other bikes as well???

I have used the HD conditioner on the leather tour pack on my wifes 03' Road King and her seat. I have not tried it on my 09 seat. I usually apply it at the start and end of the riding season. We don't ride a lot during the winter months. I don't know how much it helps but it does make the seat and especially the tour pack look a lot better. Haven't had any problems with it. Mostly used it because I had several containers of it sitting around. May be a better product others can chime in.

I don't know about a conditioner . if I'm reading it right your talking about your bike seat not your hair. I don't understand it, other than it being sails gimmick with all the Fancy names marketing comes up with.
     I've been using for " longer then I really care to remember " is good old fation saddle soap. I it use on all my leather. My old man turned me on to it in the mid 60,s I've never looked back. You can pick it up at any shoe repair Just apply with a damp soft cloth, rub it in, it soffens & water proofs. Give it a go!!!...

Get on your bike, point it South and keep riding until you are comfy!

If all else fails, fly south and rent a bike.

I use various types of leather conditioner on my Tour Pak and seats. Leather MD is a good one.

Any discussion of putting a "conditioner" on a bike seat always makes me recall the (old days)..........this was when bikes had relatively straight seats for two with no seat "pocket" to hold your azz in place.   Thus you can imagine what happens back then when some dude applies Armor All or some such similar "slick" stuff to his bike seat and then proceeds to show off for his buddies by doing a wheelie at the gas station................Off he goes.

I tried it the other day. It made the leather shine but it wasn't slippery. I like it.

I have used the HD conditioner on leather bags and seats in the past and never had a problem with being slick or staining clothing.

I figure if they send it with the bike it must be ok to use plus if I have a problem with the seat it might be easier to deal with a warranty using their stuff.

It has been a long time since I have had a bike without the vinyl seat so time to get back to leather maintenance!

Updated** - The more I look at it, just how many CVOs have leather seats?  I am pretty sure that the seat on the CVO Road Glide is vinyl.
