I have heard of issues with all the colors...but then I have only seen 1 bike pics with paint issues. My bike at least as far as I can see is perfect as well as others I have seen. If you purchase one, just as you would with any bike, look it over carefully. I am pretty anal and if the paint was bad I would never spend 36K on it! I am sure they sold over a 1000 CVO street glides. How many had paint issues... MY guess is a very small percent but any percent for a $36K bike is unnaceptable.

Enjoy! Its the best color --- If I do say so myself.

My Hard Candy delivered a week ago after being on order since December. The GM at the dealer told me two months ago that color had been discontinued but mine was still a go.
It had a small paint bubble on the R/H bag lid that broke when they washed the bike for delivery- they found it and have ordered another lid for it. Everything else looks great including the tour pack.

I don,t think they were discontinued. Mine was painted, built, and delivered end of April. All of the Gunslinger inspection stickers are dated April as well. No paint issues with mine.

Mine was painted in October of 2014 and other then the inner lip of the saddle bag lids not being evenly painted, all is good.  You can't see it and Harley calls, it a "D" surface....which means it can't be seen, so they don't see it as a problem.  I've seen standard Street Glides with the same thing, so I'm not worried.

My dealer found various paint imperfections on: outer fairing, right bag lid, rear fender trim, left lower saddle bag, left cover. I found one on the Left bag lid. All were replaced under warranty. They weren't glaring, but once you saw them your eye was drawn to it. Check the paint in multiple lighting conditions since the metal fleck can hide a lot.

A fluorescent lights are the most unforgiving, and I looked at my bike under fluorescent light on n my garage and my paint is mint!  I did clay it and buff it...just because I'm anal!

I did have to clay bar mine as well..Top of the lowers, and below the plate on the back fender. Paint is in great shape though

+3 on the clay and buffing, once all the tins were replaced. Paint looks phenomenal- lots of comments and head turns. Mostly mine as I try to walk away  ;D
