I had a 2003 Cobra that I bought new, and a radiator hose clamp broke so I took it in to be replaced.  The tech went to shut the fiberglass hood and proceeded to use his plams of his hand to press it to latch it and hairline cracked the with 150 miles on it.  They repainted the hood and left a run in the clear coat.  Then the wet sanded it and burned the clear.  Then they re cleared it and it was not buffed well.  I took it to another shop and payed out of pocket to get it right.  Sometimes a minor blemish is kind of like Cindy Crawford's mole....
