That looks awesome!  How long did it take to come in?  Any problem fitting a half helmet in it?

it took almost 7 weeks to get and i hear they're about done with the 2011 CVO paint schemes.  WI is a "no helmet" state, so i have no idea if a half helmet will fit.

Oh, I didn't want to read THAT... 7 WEEKS? No way I'll have mine by Thunder Beach if it takes that long... I only ordered it 3 weeks ago...   :'(

I've never had a problem fitting my half helmets in any Chopped Tour Paks.

Good info!

I would suggest that CVO SG owners get the hidden antenna kit even you aren't getting a Tour Pak. Really cleans up the rear end by NOT having that silly little antenna sticking up! Takes under an hour to install... you have to remove the outer fairing but that's no big deal - just make sure to put it somewhere soft so it doesn't get scratched. I got the powered hidden antenna, and had to hook it into the cigarette lighter... but the antenna kit just plugs onto the tangs on the cigarette lighter, and the power wires from the bike plug into the little tangs provided on those wires. Very easy!

I have heard that the hidden antenna kit really makes your reception go in the toilet.  I would love the look but hate it if I got crappy reception because of it.  Have you noticed any reception problems?  Does anyone else have any experience or thoughts on the hidden antenna?   :confused5:

I've read several posts about bad reception - but I haven't noticed it being any worse than with the regular antenna. Sometimes I get a little static on FM - but I got static with the regular antenna, too. The packaging says that you might experience some loss of reception for AM and Weather Band "in certain areas". But I rarely listen to AM or weather band anyway... so I really can't give you any feedback on that. FM seems fine everywhere around Atlanta.

I really like not having the antenna sticking up, and since I'm getting a Tour Pak, I really didn't want to mess around with the antenna even being there, nor in getting the antenna relocation kit that moves the antenna down. I don't know if the antenna relocation kit will even fit a CVO SG, because there doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach it down there with the CVO fender.
