Anyone know the maximum width tire that would fit on a WG2/WG3?

I had a 160/80-16 metzler on my FXDWG 3 But that tire is not much wider than the stock 150/80-16 dunlop. It is taller. Also had trouble getting the metzler to seat on the bead of the rim. You have to check the widths of the different brands because the are all different. And I believe the FXDWG 2 came with a 130/80-16           Larry

Best I found was Metzler ME880
90-90-21 front
140-90B-16 rear

WAY better than the Dunlops.

Checked the spec sheet on both the WG2 and WG3.

WG2 stock tire was 130-90B-16
WG3 stock tire was 150-80B-16

Didn't realize there was a difference year over year. Thought the only difference was the color.

Anyone know of any other differences in the two years?
