OEM Saddlebags for 2014 FLSTNSE
mbrewer566:
Anyone know the Harley part number for the OEM saddlebags? On the used cvo I bought today, the previous owner had installed cheap Saddleman bags. They look pretty bad, and I'm considering going back to the oem bags.

I can't provide a part number, but I can give you an idea of price. I bought my '14 CVO Deluxe new in April of '15. In October of '15 I had already put about 60 miles on the clock that morning and was a half mile from home. While approaching a traffic light, at no more than 35 MPH, I hit a very slight dip in the pavement and the left saddle bag flipped off of the bike and tumbled/skidded to a stop behind the bike. The only salvageable part was the lower brace going from the bag to the passenger peg.
Total cost for parts (1 bag w/lock), just over $1,100.00!
Gotta love the CVO parts book and pricing!
Cheers

I was afraid of that....the Saddleman bags on the bike are ultra cheap and of course detract from the overall appearance. I'll probably be shopping at Viking or elsewhere for something nice.

If you're not in a rush you can probably buy them on EBAY, they are usually scuffed but reupholstering them is probably cheaper than buying new. Below is two examples of one's you can buy now
