Wet Sounds Amp???
« on: August 20, 2012, 05:34:57 PM »

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a Wet Sounds amp?  This is a amp that is designed for the marine industry and is totally waterproof.  A company called Throttle Up Industries is marketing these for Harley applications.  Just wondering if anyone has used them.

Thanks,

Glide Boy

The Wetsounds amp is funtionally the same as Arc/J&M/Elf series of amps.

The amp is NOT waterproof - the fact that it is "Marine Rated" simply means that The PCBs inside the amp have been coated to resist corrosion in a damp environment, or when exposed to a salt water environment (high levels of sodium in the air moisture).

Hope this helps. ..
