Zumo harness
« on: August 23, 2012, 06:34:29 PM »

I crashed/totaled my CVO 6 days after I got it....I'm OK, pride still hurt.

Anyhow, I kept the Zumo GPS, and was wondering if HD sells the batwing harness seperately? I'd like to use it on my next bike.

Search didn't return anything.

This time, I think I'm going to get an Electra Glide Classic and modify the bejesus out of it.

Not sure which part you need, but click on this link for the parts list.  You will find that some of the stuff carries a note that it is only available from Garmin.

It's just a Garmin part. I bought a used Zumo that came with no cradle/harness, so I got one off Ebay, or Amazon - can't recall which.

Harley sells the part, but it's just a reboxed Garmin item.   Harley sells them for a ridiculous mark-up, and no dealer keeps them in stock.  here are the part numbers:

660 Cradle/harness : 92174-09    MSRP: $97.22
665 Cradle/harness : 76000045   MSRP: $82.95

Amazon has way better prices, and you should be able to get it in two days.

http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-010-11270-03-Motorcycle-Mount/dp/B001PO6JD2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346937710&sr=8-1&keywords=zumo+660+cradle

Interesting thing here is that the Garmin mount I've found on Amazon (and I bought one...so I can confirm that it's a genuine Garmin product) shows that it fits both the 665 and 660.  I'm not sure why Harley lists two different part numbers, nor do I understand why the cradle/harness costs MORE for the 660 than it does for the 665....I mean....the 665 has XM....more features means more money usually....right?
